1. Team and Player Option salaries will be included in the total contract amount.
D) Offers can not exceed 4 years in length.
1. The first and second years must be guaranteed, the third/fourth year may be a team or player option.
E) A team may not exceed a roster size of 15 players.
1. If you are the highest or only bidder but are at the maximum number of players, then your offer will be disregarded.
F) If the player has a rating of 70+, then it will be handled by a player agent. If negotiations take longer than 48 hours, then it will be handled by a player agent.

There is a mid-level exception (MLE). It can be used on multiple players if you wish. Unlike other contracts, MLE offers can only increase/decrease by up to 8% from year to year.
